All alcoholic beverages are sold in CA and title passes to the buyer in CA. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of CA. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products.
You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Macauley Vineyard are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
Credit Card Charges
Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
States Authorized for Direct Shipment
Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to all states. If Macauley Vineyard is unable to ship directly to your state, we can arrange for the sale and shipment of our products through a third party. Please note, when dealing through a third party, wine prices, discounts, and shipping costs may differ from those quoted by Macauley Vineyard. We cannot ship to a P.O. Box or APO/FPO addresses.
Shipping Costs
We ship via FedEx, UPS, and GSO. Shipping is provided at current market rates.
Wine is a Delicate Commodity
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. To protect your wine from extreme temperatures, Macauley Vineyard reserves the right to hold wine orders until weather permits. If this happens, we will store the wine at no cost to you and keep you informed of the situation and let you know when to expect the wine.
If you want your wine expedited, you can choose and pay for 3Day, 2Day or NextDay. Since you know your climate much better than we do, you are the best judge of the shipment method and timing. The placement of your order verifies your agreement to this. Macauley Vineyard is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
